The states created the federal government to serve, not to rule them. The states out-ranks all three branches, and each state has the right to judge constitutionality of every law passed by Congress, every judicial decision passed by the Supreme Court, every action by the President. And, when any of the states determine that one or more of the federal branches has breached the limits of article 1, section 8, that state has the 10th amendment right and duty to defund, disobey, and forbid the enforcement of federal directives regarding those violations, regardless of whether those directives are issued through a federal court, federal agency or any other source. This states rights power is the very essece of a constitutionl republic, which is what the founders set up. That is who we are. Lincoln was a dictator, and had no constitutional authority to invade the South. He had the audacity to call it putting down a "rebellion". Yea, a rebellion against tyranny and Lincoln's coup. Abraham Lincoln consolidated the federal branches and thereby created an oligarchy with him as the dictator. He inflicted a mortal wound to our consitition that has allowe people like FDR and Obama to rise to power. Unless we put Fedzilla back into the cage of the enumerated powers of article 1, section 8, we will not survive as a nation of sovereign states. The states MUST nullify every federal violation_past, present and future. The feds must be constantly monitored, corrected, disciplined, reproved, and rebuked every time they get out of line. That is the waythat we remind Washington that they are our servants, not our masters!

Yes, but Ron Paul used it as political cover for his isolationist views. I support the idea that we should be very selective in the wars that we fight, and that Congress should first declare war before we commit troops, with rare exceptions, but we do need a military presence worldwide to protect our business interests abroad, and to protect our citizens who travel to foreign lands. And, our leaders had better understand that ISLAM and ALL Muslims are enemies of this country. Muslims presented our first 4 Presidents with our first national crisis. Muslim pirates attacked our unarmed merchant ships, enslaved, ransomed or killed the crew. Islam is an international Mafia type crime syndicate with a religious front. We must never forget that!

Correction to my previous post: All that Republican Lincoln accomplished was to convert physical slavery into political repression. The KKK-infested Democrat-controlled congresses since Lincoln, have controlled the outcome of everything coming out of Washington, until finally there were enough Republicans in the congress during the Johnson administration to pass the unconstitutional Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act.

Both parties have turned into cannibals and both are feeding off the American people. Both are trying to convert the Jeffersonian constitutional model into an unconstitutional Nationalist/Monarchist model, i.e. an oligarchy or totalitarian government. Then, along comes the Paulbotians whose candidate had it right on his supply-side economic recovery views, but has destroyed his political credibility by his (1) isolationist foreign policy madness supported by his mind-bending hate of what he refers to as the “military-industrial complex”, and (2) his historically ignorant “blow-back” theory that Muslims are really peaceful folks who have been provoked into committing acts of terror because of our presence in “Arab lands.”

Both parties are in a race to the bottom. Dems have controlled Congress since right after Lincoln led his Republican war of Northern aggression against the South. Lincoln claimed the emancipation as moral high ground for violating the constitutional protections of slavery. All that Republican Lincoln accomplished was to convert physical slavery into political repression. The KKK infested Democrat-controlled congresses since Lincoln controlled the outcome of everything coming out of Washington until finally there were enough Republicans in the congress during the Johnson administration to pass the unconstitutional Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act. ___Continued below….
The real issue in November is how to convince swing voters who are the "undecided." This group is made up of the entitlement-minded, racially-challenged, subjective, pre-rational, emotional impulse crowd whose allegiance to the U.S. Constitution is not even on the radar screen. The future of America is in the hands of those who are have no allegiance to the Judeo-Christian absolutes that are stated in our Declaration of Independence which made America safe, exceptional and prosperous. These voters are the people who have been brainwashed by the past 50 years of the Democrat Party's socialist education system. Their lack of discernment was demonstrated in the election of Obama. No enlightened American would have ever have voted for Obama.

You are correct insofar as there must be a plaintiff, and that the SC judges on a "narrow" basis, i.e. in light of constitutionality. The problem is the many, many unconstitutional decisions have not been nullified at the state level because we think that the Supreme Court is the final arbiter of the constitution, and it is NOT. The 10th amendment screams at us to wake up and realize that the 3 federal branches are to be monitored by the people and the states. The states and the people have the duty and the authority to be the final arbiter of federal violations of the U.S. Constitution. We do not appeal or petition, we judge and nullify when necessary. That takes moral courage, something that is lacking these days.

Ok, I will get a copy of your book, but I can tell you right now that “interposition” occurs when the state “stands between” the people and an unconstitutional federal edict. The way that they interpose is by resisting, rebuking, refusing to enforce, defunding, and in other ways blocking the “progress of evil.” When interposition is SUCCESSFUL, as in the medical marijuana case by the feds in California, the RESULT is “nullification.” INTERPOSITION is the MEANS, NULLIFICATION is the RESULT.

You need to get an understanding of the Kentucky and Virginian Resolutions of 1798. The best way to do that is to read Thomas E. Woods, Jr.'s book, "Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century." Too many people are used to thinking that we are supposed to OBEY unconstitutional decisions of the Supreme Court, unconstitutional laws passed by the congress and egregious arrogant Presidential mandates. Hogwash!

The Supreme Court is supposed to judge all laws passed by the Congress in light of what the founders intended when they wrote the Constitution. The Court even has the duty of ruling on the constitutionality of the Executive branch. In fact, all three branches were designed to be “checks and balances” of each other. But, (and, as they say, “it is where you put your ‘BUT’ ”) ALL THREE BRANCHES are limited to checking & balancing of each other, NOT the states! The only powers granted to the federal government by the states at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 are the enumerated powers listed in Article 1, Section 8, and those powers do not grant the federal government the right to intrude into the affairs of state governments as in...
