Red states are the largest recipients of federal assistance and contribute least to the tax base. I suggest that red states stop receiving federal tax dollars in protest.

I'm pretty sure New York, New Jersey, Pa. , Il, Ohio , all blue states consume at least much fed assistance as all the great unwashed red states in the vast middle of the country.
All states receive fed assistance from Big Govt in DC which took the money they give them, from them in the first place. Why not have the fed stop taking all thet money from them in the first place and leave it where it originated before the fed skims their 68% off the top prior to the redistribution.
