Please give me Cheney instead of Biden. I will take Cheney any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I agree, I would love to have Gov. Walker. He actually has the guts to stand up to these unions, which are destroying the California economy. The unions are running scared and I like it. It's interesting that unions take the money from their members and give it to Democratic candidates. If Reps did this, the Dems would be yelling. I say let the unions spend millions in failed elections. This way they will limit their supply come November 2012.
I like Romney due to his economic, but I am excited about the GOP list for this upcoming election. It seems like for the first time in a long time, the GOP candidate will actually have an economic plan besides just cutting taxes. The more I listen to Cain the more I like him, however, Romney has experience governing a state. Whoever wins the nomination needs to take it to Obama and not back down. We need change and need it soon.
Here’s what I do know about Trump that I don’t know about any other politician in Washington, Trump knows how to create jobs. Most of the people in DC have never created a viable, long term, private sector job. Clearly, Obama has no idea how to create private sector jobs. He can create government jobs with our tax money, but anyone can do that. Say what you want about Trump, is he really a conservative? He knows the economy better than most of the candidates.

I just hope they all lose big. I'm tired of big government. I live in California, where we are drowning in debt and the citizens of California need to realize, at some point, the bill is going to come due. We need to get back to smaller government and empowering people. Hopefully, a good GOP candidate emerges and leads us out of this nanny state and back to reality.

Dems Retreat on Immigration

Standhisground, I couldn’t agree with you more. More and more women and African Americans are now voting Republican, so the Dems are losing more and more of their voting bloc. The Dems know they need to replace their votes if they want to have any chance of long term survival. I think Obama will grant the illegal’s amnesty before he leaves office. He knows he can’t do it now because they would be the death of the Democratic Party in the mid-term elections, but he will eventually do it.
Its funny how you bag on Romney and Pawlenty, but have you looked at your party? I don’t think I would hold Reid, Pelosi or Ted Kennedy in such high measure.
Specter is only a Republican when it benefits him, and now he thinks being a Democrat benefits him. It doesn’t really matter, since he voted with the Dems most of the time lately. I wonder what party Specter will belong to when unemployment is at 10% come 2010 and inflation is through the roof?
It is well-known that Republicans are the party of big banks, corporate power, etc. They looooove that corporations can now make unlimited contributions to political campaigns, even though our founders viewed corporations as criminals if they attempted to sway the outcome of elections.

Balanced in AZ, are you series about your comment? Who did the Dems bailout with the big stimulus bill? It was corporations, the same ones you said was in the tank for Republicans. It’s amazing how many Democrats or their spouses sit on these boards of directors. The Dems are in the tank for them BIG time, please don’t make false implications.
Obama is clueless when it comes to foreign affairs. He shows this time and time again. What Obama did to the Poles and Czechs is ignorant. He stabbed them in the back, and we’re surprised by how the rest of the world is treating us. In 2012, let’s elect a President who gets it.
