I dunno--ask moderateguy?
Who's demanding anything? Businesses provide services in other languages because it makes them money, last time I checked businesses were free to make money if they wanted to. And that's the way I like it.

I love how the 'small government' movement here isn't really about small government for everyone, just those making the noise. Big government for their opponents. Doesn't sound very libertarian to me.
Tee-boy,

I'm not Johney boy, I'm John. And it's not that I'm a grammar teacher, it's that your sentence wasn't comprehensible. If I can't understand it, I can't respond to it.

Second, you still haven't provided a shred of evidence that the government is pressuring businesses to operate in foreign languages here at home. We're supposed to believe you because you tell us that it's true? No thanks. . .
That's ridiculous. I don't want the government dictating what language I speak to a friend as I walk down the street. If I choose to speak Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, or Korean, it matters not. That's my business. It's none of uncle sam's business what languages I choose to speak.

There is an argument that forms, processes, official business, etc. should be in English. But that's not at question here. Whatever happened to small government? You want government that stands next to you and listens on what language you speak, and then hauls you off if it doesn't like the choice? No thanks--I'll take the government that leaves me alone and lets me make my own choices.

I don't know what a taco head is. I...
Who's the Ethiopian? I don't know of any Ethiopians in the US Government. Care to fill us in?

There's no sense threatening if you're not gonna do it.
Thanks for the update--appreciate the acknowledgment.

You said: As Black Americans realize (more and more) they have been had and 45 years of promises are just that, the President will face much wider defections and this makes immigration reform a ready substitute for what can no longer be stopped, just slowed. Hemorrhaging though? Perhaps a bit of hyperbole on my part...

Is any of this documented or provable? Do you have any evidence that african americans are beginning to change their views on the great society? I haven't seen any.

Frankly, every time someone like Governors Haley Barbour or Bob Mcdonnell opens their mouths, the President firms up his standing in minority communities.
Excuse me? You think that asking for a modicum of maturity is problematic?
Sorry, typo.

Yes, shame on you for supporting people who act like petulant two year olds instead of following the rules like adults do. I expect more from my Members of Congress then breaking the rules by throwing a hissy fit on the floor. . .since when did this kind of behavior become acceptable from conservatives?
