No. It means all your moralizing won't stop abortion.

It means passing laws to stop abortion won't stop abortion.

If you want to do something to help reduce the number of abortions, contribute money to Planned Parenthood.

All the rest is just noise.

Rep. Chris Smith is one of those dining room tables Rep. Barney Frank wisely refused to debate.

Hillary didn't take the bait from a wide-eyed zealot (Smith), which was an altogether sensible decision regardless of one's views on abortion. Why argue with folks who actually believe their views are inspired by god?

The "truth" about abortion is this: there were abortions before Row v Wade. There will be abortions no matter what pious scolds like Parker do to restrict access to abortions.
It would be way too boring and a complete waste of time, but a careful reading of the document that put Crouse in a hysterical frenzy would no doubt find a far less inflammatory proposals than what Crouse would have us believe.

Nonetheless, she's very good at her job: whipping up mouthbreathers hungry for something to (a) get angry about or (b) something to be afraid of.
No. The "experiment" with royalty won't end til Townhall troglodytes stop mooning over Reagan... who probably did more to screw up this country than anybody before George W.

Few spectacles are more pathetic than loud, wide-eyed, delusional zealots blathering about "baby killers" and the evil politicians who support women's right to seek safe, legal abortions.

To buy into the baby-killer nonesense one must first pretend there'd be no abortions but for pro-choice laws advanced by liberal politicians.

Fact is lots of abortions were preformed before such laws were enacted.

Fact is abortions would continue to be performed if such laws were repealed and abortion were recriminalized.

The only difference would be that the abortions would be far more dangerous for the women who received them.

Scum? Traitor? Cheater, Drunk? Escaped convict?

I see the hysterical, mean-spirited stew of insanity that is Townhall.com is at full boil.

Do you folks have any control over how hateful, spiteful and vituperative you allow yourselves to get?

I figured Bozell couldn't resist the temptation to pee on the memory of Ted Kennedy...a truly good and decent man whose jockstrap Bozell isn't fit to carry.

I love it when frumpy looking white guys who probably never had to deal with such temptations fret about the morals and godliness of guys who did.
The system designed to stop such things was created by Bush-Cheney.

Bush-Cheney also ignored scores of warnings before 9/11, which occurred 9 months into their watch.

So tell me Austin, what do you have to say about that?
Revenge and retribution flow from weakness, not strength.

And the hysterical, angry Americans frothing over Judge Mac Askill's decision are revealing far more about their own pathologies than Scotland's shortcomings.

Judge Mac Askill applied Scotish due process and followed the dictates of Scotish law. So all the bloviating by fellow commenters about law and order are just that...bloviating.

Unlike far too many Americans, the Scots care more about humanity (even for the worst of us humans) than looking tough and reveling in revenge and retribution.

The released prisoner -- who might or might not have been involved in the Lockerbie bombing (unlike most terrorists who are proud of their acts he insisted he was...

Sounds pretty much like what the Brent Bozells of the 1950s were saying about Elvis, Jerry Lee and other evil purveyors of rock 'n roll.

This sort of overwrought moralizing from the rear guard of the culture wars has become wearisome.
