TARP was proposed by a Republican President and passed by Congress, made up of Democrats and Republicans.

Stimulus II was proposed by a Democrat President and passed by Congress. They are both doing just as they are intended....stealing money from the taxpayers and giving it to the banks, political organizations (ACORN, etc.)and FOREIGN BANKS.

It is probably too late for this nation in its current state. Take a look at all the debt the nation has accrued. Madness.

when we find out about how these politicians are. Liars, cheats, thieves, and they are all elected by the voters! They are simply a reflection of the voters who elected them. Here is the issue at hand.

Governments believe that the money that you earn is subject to whatever tax they vote for. Once this is established, it is only a matter of time before those in power use their power to take whatever they wish to do with whatever they will.

They will couch it in certain terms like "income distribution" or "welfare of the masses" or "leveling the playing field" or some other such nonsense.

The young, the discontented, the naive, or the just plain stupid will cheer this behavior. Why, it's "for the children" or "we need to think globally"! What a crock of BS.

Governments throughout history have done this. Why should the U.S. be any different? We will collapse from within at the...

And American Patriot. You repulse me. You maintain that those who won't adopt the "unwanted" babies are hypocrites when they oppose abortion is revolting. There are many who do just such a thing. A Greater Being has declared this:

Abortion is murder. Murder of the defenseless.

Capital Punishment is not. It is just punishment that governments are charged with meting out. When they fail to do so, then society suffers. Anyone who wishes to be a judge should remember this great responsibility.

Don't even talk about "viability" of a fetus. Even six month old babies need feeding and care or they will die. Is it OK to kill them too?
