Michelle, you identified Damon as a "box office star". But why not - you (& most everyone else) probably never heard of the movie "The Green Zone" (ANOTHER Bash Bush epic) that flopped big time. You also may not have heard that Damon was expected to help bring in the "Million" to the big rally last week - he managed to help gather 8,000 or so. Oh yea - he's a BIG attraction.

Gerson's adolescent remarks and opinions reveal an astonishing misread of why "Atlas Shrugged" is more relevant today than any time since it was published (look at the current sales of the book). Mr. Knight. I was born gay into a fundamental christian family who believed and taught the bible as gospel. As an educated person and from the perspective of 70+ years now I can say unequivacably I was born that way. Decades of praying to God to help me "overcome" have come to naught, so I had to finally accept that is how He made me. I did not choose to be belittled, persecuted, discriminated against and judged by the likes of you. May I inquire.. did you choose to be straight? I disagree with many of the militant tactics of gay groups, just as I do with yours, but He also taught me not to judge. So with more respect than you offer me, I hope you will try and be more "christian" in your attitude toward those that you cannot...

After watching the debate you had to give it to Fiorina. If you only listened to network news you probably think Boxer KO'd her. Two of the three majors actually showed clips of Boxer during the debate - none for Fiorina who, if she wasn't aware already knows now her job must be to somehow publicly debate the media. John

Mr. Horowitz, in selling his hypothesis that Hollywood is a bastion of Libertarianism, handily skipped mentioning even one of the countless solidly Left propaganda films (especially the spate of 'anti-war' entries that were mostly embarrassments at the box office). No way to judge if a war movie honoring the bravery of soldiers fighting terrorism would have made money, as there were none. IF Hollywood is so concerned about its image, they have the most potent weapon to change the public's mind at their fingertips, i.e., make movies to prove their point, and tell their loud mouthed, mostly ill informed partisan actors to SHUT THE **** UP. The public isn't as dumb as the Horowitz propaganda is trying to sell it.
