One way Romney could have responded was: Are you still hung up on that old Connecticut case, George. In today's world, the problem isn't the Supreme Court, which is taking care of Constitutional issues fairly well, but with the arrogance of Democrat politicians and the President in taking unto themselves matters that are best left to the people, and then, when the people object, as with Obamacare, ignoring the people and passively leaving the problems to the Supreme Court to figure out. We need a President and a Congress who will abide by the Constitution. And we need them as soon as possible--next November.

The GOP's Orrin Hatch Problem

Orrin Hatch is too old to be in Congress, even it does as little work as possible and less than that needed to turn this country around. He should retire gracefully. He is yesterday's news and wraps himself around what yesterday's news normally is wrapped around.

The Grating Communicator

Actually, if you discount the attempt by Democrats to appeal to racists by claiming Warran Harding would be the first black president, which Harding acknowledged could be, vicious nastiness appeared in modern American politices with Lyndon Johnson's "Little girl with a daisy being nuked" ad in 1964 and George McGovern's pathetic and desperate claim that Richard Nixon was a Hitler in 1972.

What does Faulkner think of Danny Glover's claim that the earthquake in Haiti was the response to the failure to get an agreement in Copenhagen?

The inside the beltway miasma that turns all Congressman's brains to mush is evident in the Conrad-Gregg concoction. Judd Gregg allegedly is a lawyer with a JD and an LLM from Boston University. Conrad is a tag-along who is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy as is Gregg. Either Gregg has lost his memory of constitutional law taught him at BU, or Philips Exeter has an unwholesome influence on its grads which requires it to be napalmed. Or maybe both Senators are just senile old coots who should be convinced to resign now before they do more damage.

Rock on the Health Care Road

The fascist tyrant, praised by Hitler and Mussolini, Franklin Roosevelt, cowed trhe Supreme Court of the United States into a servile acceptance of any BS Congress throws at it. He's dead. It's time for the Court to get its spine back.
If the Court were to follow the arguments of Stuart Taylor, it is time for refreshing the roots of the Tree of Liberty with the blood of tyrants and patriots.

As usual the brain dead Republicans inside the beltway have fallen for an idiotic red herring. They should be focusing on two issues with the ferocity of George Patton: (1 stopping the fascist monstrosity known as Obamacare, at ALL costs; and (2) getting Mr. Brown elected and seated as the next Senator from Massachusetts There should already have been 10,000 lawyers from the RNC heading to Massachusetts to sit on corrupt Democrat--is there any other kind?--election officials. Instead they whine and cry like General Johnston impersonator John Thune about "transparency" in a health care bill that hasn't had any for months; and get pulled off into a side show about what a stupid, rotten SOB Harry Reid is, a fact known for years. Get...

The Ron Paul Delusion

While it is true that Ron Paul will not win a Presidential election with a mere 14% of the people in the country considering themselves Libertarian, the Republican Party hot shots better take a look at their own history. The Republican Party started out as a third part (the Whigs and the Democrats were the two party system)and in a mere three national elections eliminated the Whigs a a political force and ran the country for the next 60 years.

Didn't the Republican Party start as a third party? The Republican Party today is dead as a doornail. That is clearly shown by he Democrats' bragging that if the Republican wins the Massachusetts special election, they will stall and stall until Kennedy's puke of a bench warmer votes for the fascist Obamacare bill. They don't even hide their strategy anymore, but grandly flip the bird to the American people and Republicans in Congress.

Illegal Immigrants: Not So Scary

John2444 Wrote: Feb 21, 2010 9:33 AM
Illegal is illegal is illegal is illegal. If you claim to be a country ruled by laws, not men, then you cannot tolerate the flagrant lawbreaking of anyone wandering into your country without permission of the law.
Try to wander around Mexico or Australia without following their immigration laws. Our enforcement of our laws should be no different.
