You have touched on the basic question. Since we can't be sure or really know when the fertilized egg becomes a person, a human being, shoudl we not take every step possible to make sure no one is killed without "probably cause" of having done something so horirible to deserve the death penality? And yet, the taking of the life of an embro/fetus/baby/child is considered a "right" without any evidence of guilt and just as a matter of convience for one person.

Editor’s note: Dr. Adams will speak at Christ Church Lutheran Church in Phoenix, AZ on January 19. The speech, which is part of the Voices for the Voiceless "Redefine" Conference, will begin shortly after the conference opens at 8 am.
