They Lie: Abortion In Obamacare

Of course abortion would be covered by a government health care system. How could it deny any legal procedure ordered by a ones doctor? They couldn't even deny coverage if it were a pre-existing condition. If we have the "right" to health insurance nothing can be denied.

Time to Uphold the 10th Amendment

I agree with Mr. Rooney that our elected representatives ignore the limits of their constitutional authority either by design or from ignorance.

The Constitution was ratified in June of 1788 and became effective in March of 1789 without a Bill of Rights. The wisdom of a Bill of Rights was a matter of debate. One view is represented in No. 84 of The Federalist. They were added to put further limits on the specific GOVERNMENT abuses their experiences taught them to fear. The 9th amendment addresses the concerns of No. 84. These first 10 amendments, our Bill of Rights, were ratified in December of 1791.

Objects do not possess any intrinsic qualities. Virtue is to be found only in the purpose to which they are used.
