Yeah, that works. As a Kansan I was always so proud of President Landon's great leadership after winning the '36 election. And President Dole (another Kansan) easily defeated notorious scumbag and lecher Bill Clinton 60 years later.

GOP Whistling Past the End of America

James Madison would have recognized that unions, under the Common Law, which was incorporated directly into our Constitution, was a criminal conspiracy to commit extortion. We have degenerated to the point that even 'conservative' commentators are unable to imagine the life of 1787. Like anyone wondering what the Founders would have thought of same-sex marriage. Inasmuch as sodomy was a capital crime, the matter wouldn't have crossed their (much superior) minds.

Why the Hiss Case Still Matters

Bukovsky is probably wrong. Leftists define 'work' to mean the destruction of normal human society. We can always hope for a better tomorrow, but right now it looks like Russian society was completely erased by 70 years of full-bore Leftism. And that is every Leftists' goal. Sure, traditional Marxism concentrates on the economy, but if you pay attention, the first target in every Leftist regime is religion and traditional morality. The Spanish Republicans and the Khmer Rouge were prime examples. Why are same-sex marriage, trans-generational sex, any public display of Christianity (no other religion), pro-police measures, or equality before the law for all races opposed hammer-and-tongs by Leftists? Because they support society.
Unions are criminal enterprises (conspiracy to extort) and every union member is a co-conspirator. Joseph Waumbaugh was correct when he said that it's easy to abolish crime by repealing criminal statutes, but you can never abolish evil. Anyhow, whenever you deal with unions, you're dealing with criminals. Are you amazed that they lie? Or use violence to get what they want? Or that they cheat on agreements? Or refuse to obey rules of civilized behavior?

The Bad/Good Idea of Removing Assad

Taking this article to it's logical conclusion: it looks to me like the best approach to the Middle-East would be to start by killing Assad, and continuing as long as human life still exists in Syria.
Progressives! Gotta work on getting rid of them. The Electoral College was specifically created as a redundant protection against democracy. The candidate who gets the most votes in the Electoral College is President. Those are the rules, and have been for over 200 years. How in hell does their application in one more election constitute a nightmare for anybody? If only so many Americans were not so awesomely ignorant, this wouldn't even be an issue. Notify everyone that any attempt to declare a candidate President who did not win the most votes in the EC will be considered insurrection and punished by hanging on the spot.
This is cr*p, and infantile, ignorant cr*p at that. The Founders loathed democracy as an illegitmate and dishonorable form of government. That's why they allowed such a tiny percentage of Americans to vote in the first place. Contrary to the un-American, alien academics and MSM talkers of today, the restricted suffrage created in the Constitution was set up specifically to foreclose any possibility of a popular democracy eventually being created. On top of the theoretical considerations, all recorded history, both here and elsewhere, has repeatedly shown that democracy quickly degenerates into tyranny, as most people don't value freedom. They are congenital slaves, and deserve no voice in any government.

Not nukes. Too destructive of private property. Except NYC, which ought to be levelled and sown with salt and Uranium. A basic truth of social life is that 'personnel is policy'. Look at voting records. There are certain identifiable groups of people who support Leftists in every election. They must be silenced. Notably, these are the very groups that our Founding Fathers did not allow to vote. States determined voting qualifications and the franchise was restricted to free, white, property-owning, Christian males over 21, who could afford to pay a poll tax. I believe that if the Founders' voting restrictions had remained in effect, there would be no Leftism here today.
Another entire goddam comment just disappeared while I was typing. My observation has been that PCs are setup and programmed by six-armed, two-headed space-aliens, to insanitize normal humans as they use the infernal devices. Remember: to err is human, but to really screw things up, you have to have a computer.
My entire comment just disappeared when I hit the wrong key. This happens often. Does anyone out there understand this? If so, let me know what's going on. Meanwhile, I'm looking for a sledge hammer to adjust this worthless PoS.
