After reading the comments to this article, the point of the author becomes only more clear. Sadly, we will lose the 2012 POTUS election due to this inane banter. Republicans used to be the party of strength and power. A party that America could turn to when they needed confidence. The ramblings of the Tea Party and Birthers (even though they are only a minority), make us all look weak and desperate.

On paper, I would agree with this tax plan. The only contention I would make is to keep the estate tax for estates over $10 million, and use that money to lower the 25% bracket. Without the estate tax, people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet would be able to create de-facto monarchies without their subsequent generations having to ever earn a dime. I can't support laziness.
