Those that deny Jesus, or that the Bible is the "literal" Word of God will one day stand in front of that God. There will be no denying either at that time. Bible believing Christians should not run away from defending the Bible to please those who the Bible states, "profess to be wise, but are fools." Those same Christians should also not simply accept that everyone church, ministry, or individual who claims to be Christian really is. The Bible clearly teaches that we are saved only by Biblically believing in Jesus. We are saved by faith through grace. We are not saved by works. You can not mix faith and works. If you add any works to saving faith then that is not Biblical Christianity. That leaves out a lot of churches, ministries, etc. that proclaim that are "Christian." Justification is solely by faith in Jesus alone. Works are a part of sanctification not justification. Remember "Good peoeple do not go to heaven, forgiven people do." Want to be forgiven? I will not vote for someone who is pro-abortion. If you can not oppose the killing of the unborn, you should not hold public office. Can you imagine someone claiming to be pro-slavery or pro-holocaust and getting elected? Legal abortion has killed 50 million human beings since 1973, that is far more than died in the holocaust, all our wars and because of slavery combined. While I can agree with the writer that you should not have to be in 100% agreement on all issues to be a true conservative, there are some issues that are just too important to be wrong on.
