Start or Keep calling your senators and congessmen and let them know that you will vote them out if they support AWB or Universal Background checks(UBC) or any other form of gun control over and above what we have now. If the government manages to pass UBC then YOU won't have any recourse to hide your guns when the government comes for them to confiscate them. Because it will force private sales to go through the FFL process and if you don't comply it will be a felony with 10 yrs jail associated sentences! Gun shows do FFL , vendors do FFL so any purchases that you made through this process has already been added to the govs electronic database(which is against law!). Keep private sales PRIVATE to keep ur guns!

In the Soviet Union, the only market that worked was the Black Market. It was used by everybody, including the apparatchiks, to get goods that had been banned by government. Just like with drugs, and alcohol before that, there will be a Black Market for guns and ammo.....and affordable healthcare. Millions of us are being made criminals by our government while I type this.

Perhaps I should buy some stock in a barbed wire mfgr. There is not nearly enough prison space to house us all, yet.

After last month’s filibuster of the Obama administration’s new drone policy, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has received a lot of attention from both libertarians and Republicans. With Senator Reid looking to introduce new gun legislation soon, Senator Paul isn’t afraid to use the same method to get his opinions out there. Late last month Senators Paul, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz all sent a letter to the Senate Majority leader. The letter threatened to filibuster the new proposed bill that would expand background checks and crack down on interstate gun trading.

But on Monday Rand Paul and 12 other GOP...
