What I think you will see this week is the Establishment Republicans coming to the rescue of even cutting the rate of growth of the federal government. The "Grand Deal" will likely happen in the wee hours of Thurs. or Fri.. Through smoke and mirrors they will be able to achieve no cuts at all not even to the rate of growth.

I’m a little more optimistic. It appears the Chicken Little scare talk surrounding the sequester has been thoroughly exposed as nothing more than the primary cause of global warming, if you know what I mean. If Republicans cave, it will mean they are the only ones not in on the joke we are enjoying at the Democraps’ expense. I am reluctant to believe that even they are that dumb.
