not yet they are not,but if they restrict which ones we are ALLOWED to have,it will not be long before they find a reason to take the ones as you say "no one is taking her gun away,I say if the millitary can have and use it,thats what we need to have and use,just like the constitution says!

and, since any weapon can be seen as an assault weapon (as there is not real definition of such) all guns will be banned from the hands of law-abiding citizens.

CAPITOL HILL -- During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday on Capitol Hill about how to prevent gun violence, Senior Fellow of the Independent Women’s Forum Gayle Trotter was loudly heckled by anti-gun advocates in the crowd after she suggested women need firearms to protect young children in their homes.
