Pastors should be teaching the Christian world view, the Scriptural phrase is "the mind of Christ", so they will recognize errors and deception when they hear it coming from candidates. They also should point out when candidates and party platforms advocate policies that are not compatible with Scriptural Principles. They should also point out the peril of putting your trust in Government or politicians rather than God.
