No American,and for that matter no non-American citizen is ever turned away at any hospital.It's called charity care in NJ and it cost tax payers hundreds of millions a year. Perhaps it's not the cadilliac plan bho or congress has,but each and everyone is treated. Now when we all start paying alot more,just think how "shameful" that will be...trillions of reasons to get a better law...tax...whatever.
