The Truth About "Stand Your Ground" Laws

And an eyewitness clearly stated that Martin was on top of Zimmerman beating the crap out of him. Doesn't sound like he was too scared. Following someone who has aroused your suspicion is not "stalking", which would be defined by persistence. Since this incident occurred in the course of one day, "stalking" does not apply. I suspect Zimmerman was arrested to protect him from the repeated open threats of violence against him. Now that's "stalking", with no hint of prosecution.

Pact With the Devil Over Gold

A fitting end to the culture of debt. Alarmists preach about coming economic collapse. Nothing could be further from the truth. It will feel like a collapse, because we have been living on borrowed money for the last 60 years, public and private. Before too long, we will have to start living within our means; oh the horror. While the US public debt is around 15 trillion, US private debt exceeds 40 trillion.

Spare That Post Office

Change is part of life. To opine the loss of post offices is somewhat melodramatic. Given the ease and cost effectveness of electronic communication, most people have little day to day use for them. At those times when hard copy mail is needed, once the USPS relenquishes its government mandated monopoly, I am quite certain that some private business will assume that roll; probably at lower cost, and with faster service. To dwell on this as our liberty is being assaulted is irresponsible.

What's Their Problem With Romney?

Yeah, Romney is a conservative. This week. Therein lies the problem. Mitt will be whatever he thinks he needs to be to get elected. In other words, a prostitute.

The Anti-Romney Vote

Watching "Freedom Watch" last night, I saw a startling statistic. The average annual income for someone on the dole is $300 higher than the average after tax income for someone not on the dole. A quote most often attributed to Alexander Tyler: "Democracy will only last until the people discover they can vote themselves funds from the public treasury". We are there folks. Thanks, FDR.

I don't see why you are astounded that public education, supported by the very same forces that are destroying the nation, has not taught its students the truth.

By cutting off all trade, who do you think suffered more, the South African separatists, or the black majority?

So, which was the greater threat, the Soviet Union's nuclear arsenal, or Al Qaeda?
