The reason why the economy did so well during the Clinton years is because of gridlock. They could not pass all of the laws, regulations, taxes, and capitalism thrived. It just goes to show you that when the government stays out of the way, the economy and the American way works and works well. Putting high taxes on businesses and the middle class and trying to control everything only strangles the economy and growth. But they know this. Exactly, I do not know why it is so hard for these morons to understand. The Democrat controlled congress is what got us into this mess. Yes, I agree that GW Bush in his second term was not the best, but the libs forced banks to give loans to people who probably could not get credit at Best Buy for a 32 inch TV, yet they were forced to give these people mortgages for $150,000 to $200,000.
