I still don't think he should've given in to the pressure to release this information, but this was a very informative way of doing it. Rather than just putting the return out there for people to make their own conclusions about, having this letter from his trustee explaining all of it is a smart move. I'm sure he will still get criticism about something. "Why didn't he give it ALL to charity?" they'll say.

Yes, but this erases any doubt for those Independents that he didn't pay his fair share, and makes Fairy Reid and Dems look like the moron a-s-ses that they are. More importantly, it shows him to be a wealthy man who chooses to share without Federal theft.

We know Mitt had a Swiss account that was closed in 2009. Did he take amnesty? How many accounts did The Romney's have in Switzerland. Were his taxes amended to pay back taxes for taking amnesty?

Brad Malt, the trustee of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's blind trust, released a statement that the campaign will be releasing the Romneys' 2011 tax returns at 3pm along with a letter from accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers that will provide the Romneys' tax rates over the 20-year period from 1990-2009.

The top-line numbers for 2011: Romney made $13.7 milion on mostly investment income and paid $1.9 million in taxes - an effective tax rate of 14.1%. Over the 20-year period that PWC will release, the Romneys' average effective tax rate was over 20%. Remember, Harry Reid claimed that the Romneys...
