What are you going to do with that land? the "spectrum". If it belongs to "us" and it sits there it is worthless. I'd like our dollar to be worth more, things would be cheaper, but $65 a week to drive wherever I need to, $2.50 a day for all the electricity I want and need, $75 a month to communicate whenever with whomever I want. I say please keep mining, growing, raping our digital spectrum. You would rather bureaucrats got more money from them so they could waste more tax dollars and the evil companies would charge us more?

I’ve put together a video series on the need for entitlement reform and another one on the economics of government spending.

I think that my videos are straightforward and easy to understand, but I’m always open to the possibility that I’m too wonky. After all, normal people may not have the time or interest to endure 20 minutes of Dan Mitchell (perish the thought!).

So perhaps this short cartoon video from the folks at the American Enterprise Institute is a better approach. Sort of Dr. Seuss goes to Greece.
