Miracle: Senate Democrats' Budget to Drop Next Week?

Completely agree. The absence of a budget makes it easier to distribute money to your crony pals, as with the green energy scam and it also provides cover because people are not required to take a fiscal stand and defend it. What reid has done is so outrageous, and there are so many millions of low information voters that have no clue as to what has become of what was the greatest deliberative body on the planet.

A big reason for the 1st Amendment was freedom of the press. However, the way our schools are, most kids & ignorants take it to mean they can say what they want, when they want too.

They have no clue that the founders felt that the most important role of the newspapers was to inform the electorate and the only way that could be done was to insure their freedom to print articles unfavorable to either administration.

Now, they are just obummer lapdogs.

It doesn't help that those low information voters are also the folks not paying taxes or are gaining from government social programs. What I don't understand are the folk who actually work a difficult job and do pay taxes not screaming their heads off about the waste that leads to higher taxes. Or the wealthy who know the score but ignore the score as if numbers don't count in the game of business and commerce. They should be livid and active.

The last time Democrats in the United States Senate adhered to the law and put forward an annual budget was back in calendar year 2009, just after the last presidential election.  Now that another major national electoral contest is in the rearview mirror, it appears that Harry Reid's motley crew is preparing to make good on their magnanimous pledge to actually do their jobs this year.  Via a senior Republican source at the Senate Budget Committee:

We expect to mark up a Senate Democrat budget next week. We don’t have a date, we don’t know...
