To me, its not a matter of hate this, support that. At one time, I was a sports fanatic. Now, I could give a whit because the money has become so obscene. Now, a dad can't afford to take his son to a ball game because they've got to pay player X, Y & Z, 25 million. Same with the entertainment industry. The price has gotten so out of hand because idiots like Damon get paid obscene amounts of money. So, with actors, if they choose to use their celebrity to promote causes, heck with them. On the other hand, I'm sure that there are many lefty actors that keep their mouths shut and opinions to themselves that I'm just fine with.

Actor Matt Damon has a new movie coming out on January 4 called "Promised Land." Damon made the film with a goal of exposing the so-called havoc fracking wreaks on local communities. The problem? Damon received his funding for the film from the United Arab Emirates, a country poised to make billion of dollars in oil money if fracking is banned in America. This is a fact Damon denies.

Last week, pro-fracking filmmaker Phelim McAleer confronted Damon about the funding of Promised Land.
