Why was McKinney campaigning in New York? I thought she represented a district in Georgia.

" ...they need to restructure their compensation packages so that a larger share of the GDP goes to the workers who create the wealth that the 1% owns." They? Who? you? the government? By what authority? please you're on a roll; please elaborate.

You believe the playing field is not level, and that somehow outcomes are unfair. Please propose a solution to what you think is a more just distribution of wealth. Be specific, just do not propose expropriation. If you choose higher taxes on those with wealth and income please tell how you'd redistribute it--checks? Would I, under your proposal get a tax credit, or a rebate, or an outright payment. I look forward to your reply. leftists whine about this issue but never have a non confiscatory solution. If you propose confiscation , you lose.

stupid? garbage? Goober? I think you're lost. You want the Washington Post comments threads, or better yet, DU where no one answers back. You brand of cheap shot, insult and general slime is perfect there. There are adults talking here. Get a clue, the social contract doesn't include expropriation now matter how many leftists think it just. The "rich" you think should pay more paid for those roads and infrastructure you and Obama think solely responsible for their success. Guess what, they're still paying for it, most of it in fact. Nice try, though.

You're winding us up right? Private businesses, unlike public employment , are not jobs programs in business to employ people. They exist to earn profits and returns. Employers hire labor when it can produce value in excess of its cost. Conflating the payment of $100,000, or whatever by Bain to Romney with a decision to pay someone $7.25 an hour for some other task in nonsense. In either case they are private decisions made by private businesses, not public policy. Here's a clue for you: stable economic policy without shocks and surprises provide incentives to invest in plant, equipment, and job-creating activity. The Obama administration provides none of this. Look around, capital is not being deployed. Atlas is shrugging.

There are three genders: masculine, feminine, and neuter. Only words have gender. On the other hand, people have sexes, of which there are two, male and female.
Democrats have only to win. Republicans must beat the spread.
I don't believe JPK2 is celebrating anything. My loathing for Obama and his administration is complete and full, yet I think JPK2 has correctly summarized the situation.
