Who are you kidding about the cost-of-living index decrasing? The index may have decreased, but it does not measure the real cost of living. They removed the things that really increase in cost to mute the index. Seniors have been cheated by this muting of the index. The real cost of living has been significantly higher than the CPI shows.
While I agree that the bonus of $250 is really just another attempt to buy off seniors, it will not work this time. Getting paid $250 to stop objecting to the takeover of the healthcare industry is a bad joke.

I cannot answer that question, but some of the people that he has in his administration do seem to be. Some of them have already promoted the overthrow of our form of government.
The arguments offered to not say those things are salient. It is more likely to get him and his far left politions out of office. To ignore the possiblilit that they are really trying to complete the conversion of our republic into a socialist government is nieve. Our government has been moving from the republic that we used to have to one that ignores most of the constitution, that these politions pledge to support.
We need to do all that is moral and honest to replace those politions that do not want the form of government that our founders gave us.

You make a good logical case for Obama not seeking to destroy the economy intentionally, BUT: His actions are going in that direction. Bush with the TARP program and Obama's taking over companies with the "too big to fail" argument is bad news for the economy. If people or companies make bad decisions, why should the rest of us bail them out?
Who is going to bail our the USA for making the same type of bad decisions?
