Yet another reason I won't donate to the Red Cross. Convoy of Hope is much better, and more of every donated dollar goes to provide actual relief to the affected people, not to the pocketbooks of the people who run the organization.

I'm with you! After the 9/11 of using funds that were intended for the victims, I stopped. In addition to being politicial (Obama), did you know that the head person makes over $957,000 - charity begins at home at GUESS!

On Friday night, swing-voters across the nation saw a one-minute advertisement paid for by the Red Cross featuring President Barack Obama.

The ad comes on the weekend before the election, and while the Red Cross does unquestionable good for millions of Americans, the choice to run this ad comes noticeably close to a campaign endorsement for President Obama.
