'the state has always seen "people who move around" to be the enemy'...that's why they are pushing us toward mass transportation and electric vehicles. If you can't drive more than 40 miles on a charge, you're not likely to be moving around too much.
His "Save the Orphans" song on Two and a Half Men was one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
Fracking has been going on for 40 years. The sensationalist reporting on fracking is nothing more than enviro-whacko propaganda that is as valid as NBC's report on exploding Chevrolet pickups. Also, there is not a single place in the U.S. that is earthquake-free.
I'm surprised California's government hasn't done the same thing to people and businesses trying to leave California.

"The Hunger Games'' Bread and Circuses

"The Running Man" was written by Stephen King, and I also thought of it immediately when I heard of "The Hunger Games." It also reminds me of another Stephen King story, "The Long Walk," in which a totalitarian government stages a contest for teenagers (boys) that only one can win--all others die.
I like to remind myself of the approximately 2.5 million times a year guns are responsible for preventing crimes, including murder. Zimmerman was on the ground being beaten by that 6'2" tall football playing "kid."
Zimmerman was on the ground being beaten by this suspended-from-school, 6'2" football-playing darling when he fired the shot.
You mean he's pro-abortion?
Obviously this columnist lives in some little bubble and never actually meets people in the real world.
Because the right to defend one's self and one's property is a natural right. You are confusing the law with the application of it. It is up to investigators and a grand jury to determine whether Zimmerman applied the law properly, not some race-baiting useless hacks like Sharpton and Jackson, who must have racial strife to remain relevant, and will create it if necessary. Or, for that matter, it is not up to some airhead named "Aura" to decide if the law was applied properly.
