"You" are included in "we." Much of the entitlement mentality started with the Great Depression/WWII generation. It was they who demanded that the government come to their rescue. When someone collects $23,000 in "Social Security" allegedly based on paying $23 in taxes, just how did you expect that to work out? You did a great a job saving the country from external tyranny only to accept it from inside.

No Joe, i'm not included. I never voted Dem for any office above city council, and that was in Morris county NJ, where a crew of crooked Reps ran the county. Your name is new but mine is not, and I've been playing Cassandra to warn of unfunded entitlements for years here. My generation can logically be accused of not passing on patriotism and realism to their children, but I was shoveling against the tide all the way.

So Congress is not going to pass gun legislation. It doesn’t sound as if they need to worry about it as the President is all too willing to take care of that for them. And New York has a deal in the works to begin limiting firearms.

And Chuck Schumer is asking for an end to gun sales until Congress can find a way to limit gun sales. If anyone is still mind-numbingly stupid enough to remain in the State of New York under the leadership of a bunch Hugo Chavez wanna-be’s, hey they are free to screw...
