I'm all for making massive cuts in the budget -- we have a spending problem -- but I bet many who agree didn't realize to what extent Obama would use that against us to achieve his ends. Obama's machinations are more than scare tactics. He is leveraging the crisis he manufactured to make us less safe... and I think, all along, that was part of his plan. It's the perfect cover. He gets to gut our military with wholesale troop cuts, delayed aircraft carrier deployments, etc., while "mainstream" media misdirects the truth and covers for him. Still, I say "Embrace the Sequester" -- even if we can't stop Obama from using it against us. That's one sure way to get the "brush fires of freedom" going in this country against Obama's tyranny.

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) is the type of elected official who should come to the forefront of the Republican Party.  Not only is he a conservative, he is a conservative who is able to explain his positions with ease and clarity.  In response to Jay Carney's gibe about what he would say to workers furloughed because of the sequester, Rep.
