Next time you hear a teacher say it's all about the kids, remember today. It is nothing about the kids for these union thugs, it is solely about adults and trying to rig the rules so that they can steal the money of their opponents.
That's exactly right. I am no longer young, but I have given up on Republicans and refuse to hold my nose any longer and vote for them. I officially became a member of the Libertarian Party last week.
Boehner is once again getting rolled. I recently left the Republican Party and am now a Libertarian. I came to the conclusion that I have much more in common with them than with Republicans who actually do believe in the welfare state and our massive federal government. Boehner and most of the Republicans are now the useful idiots that we thought only the moron Obama voters were.

This is why the House might as well give the ultra-left everything it wants for the next four years. Let them turn this country into the socialist paradise that they have so long desired and let the morons that voted for it suffer the consequences. It looks like some tough love is in order to return this nation to its promise of liberty and prosperity.

When it was a Game

Ken Burns did "Baseball", but I'm pretty sure When It Was A Game is not his work. At least I don't recall him having anything to do with the making of it. Galen is right about MLB's silliness in refusing to call the Playoffs the Playoffs, but otherwise, I'd say stick to politics. I'm as big a baseball fan as anyone and have read all the books and watched all the documentaries about baseball as a metaphor, but it's really grown old. Leave it to Roger Angell and maybe Bob Costas because he can't help himself.
Wow. Chris, you are unhinged. He actually said the debate of ideas in this country is being aired on MSNBC? I guess if the debate is socialism vs. communism, then that's where the debate is beign aired, to a few hippies and dumb college students. And yes, devildog0311, Michelle is probably throwing lamps at Barack as we speak. She is ENTITLED to her free vacations and other high-end luxuries and he's flushing them down the drain.
Exactly right. If this was a pledge for Romney, the professor would be long gone by now, and rightfully so. But when it's the ultra-left, well, we will investigate, give a week or two suspension with pay, and then accept an insincere apology and move along.

Our Dishonorable President

Agreed. It is long past the time we and the people in charge of the Republican Party started using blunt language and stopped worrying about whether Obama is "likeable." Of course he's going to be likeable if we're not willing to expose him for who he is. We know the media is going to cover for him and act as head cheerleader, so that leaves us to do the job. Obama is at heart a Marxist who absolutely hates the United States and the idea upon which it was founded. He is a racist, a traitor, a liar and a piece of utter human garbage. He is a thug who would not think twice about having people killed who got in his way if he thought he could get away with it.
