What We Know That Isn't So

I think everyone is missing a real opportunity here to solve two problems. If we would only concentrate on harnessing cow flatulence, we could save the "warming" earth and use the newly found "clean" fuel to run our cars. Running low on fuel during a drive through the country? Hello Mr. Cow. A quick connecting hose and a few kind words and you're on your way. Fits in well with the save the cow campaign too.
I just priced a solar system for my house. A 34000 investment takes 30 years to brake even or 4 years with a little help from my friends...the government.
I agree with the President that this was a teachable moment. Everyone seems to ignore the fact that the poor woman who made the 911 call has been harassed, called a racist and even threatened. What lesson was learned by her and many others? If you see a possible crime being committed, especially by a minority, turn your back and by all means don't call 911. I think that this incident will go through many peoples minds when faced with the same situation. Thank you Mr President for a lesson well learned.
It seems that everyone on both sides of the issue have failed to realize the real teachable moment. The poor woman who made the 911 call has been harassed, called a racist and has been threatened. Who has learned the lesson of the teachable moment? I believe it is her. She has learned to look the other way when she sees a potential criminal act in progress. Especially if a minority is involved. I think many Americans have come away with the same "lesson". There is no free beer for those who do the right thing. just a jug of gruel.Thank you President Obama for this valuable lesson.
