I think everyone is missing a real opportunity here to solve two problems. I agree with the President that this was a teachable moment. Everyone seems to ignore the fact that the poor woman who made the 911 call has been harassed, called a racist and even threatened. What lesson was learned by her and many others? If you see a possible crime being committed, especially by a minority, turn your back and by all means don't call 911. I think that this incident will go through many peoples minds when faced with the same situation. Thank you Mr President for a lesson well learned.
