A good resource for college kids who want to resist the indoctrination is the OtherHalfOfHistory.com website. For students who actually encounter censorship, the Foundation for Equal Rights in Education: www.theFire.org

A U.N. -- But for Good Guys

Goldberg is right, the UN is a democracy of dictators. The representatives of totalitarian regimes can always out-vote the representatives of democracies, because of their superior numbers. What I don't know is what "good things" Goldberg is talking about. Can anybody name something genuinely good the UN has done in the last fifty years? Here's a good resource: http://historyhalf.com/the-united-nations-a-democracy-of-dictators/ Everywhere the UN goes it does harm, as far as I can see.

What this article doesn't say is that fossil fuel use has been shooting up rapidly during the past several years, even while global temperatures have stopped rising. Here's a column that alludes to the increases in fossil fuel use during that time: http://historyhalf.com/the-global-warming-agenda/ Maybe we should all buy bigger cars, to make sure the global warming never starts up again...

Thousands of scientists have cast doubt on the Manmade Global Warming gospel: www.petitionproject.com The real agenda in this manmade global warming hoax is to make the government more powerful. That's why liberals all preach it: http://historyhalf.com/the-global-warming-agenda/

There is a website specifically designed to refute the liberal disinformation in classrooms: www.OtherHalfOfHistory.com And according to the site, Joseph McCarthy was more right than wrong about communism.
It's certainly fair to say that the schools are biased against capitalism. The textbooks are full of propaganda. Here's a website dedicated just to the leftist bias in history textbooks: www.historyhalf.com As for religion, the only one that's protrayed in a positive light in classrooms is Islam.

Nothing new about this. Columbia has been a home to America-hating radicals for a hundred years. About half the traitors who spied for the Russkies during the Cold War were Columbia professors or alumns. Here's a good overview: http://historyhalf.com/columbia-university-and-communism/ Quite remarkable, really. Most universities are leftist, but Columbia is in a class by itself.

Ditto what Merry and Juseff wrote. Dr Sowell is a tremendous resource. Thank the Lord and the doctors. BTW he could have made one point a little more strongly, about the expensive cancer drug that couldn't get approval. In seventeen years or less it would lose patent protection and become available as a generic. Who knows, I might develop cancer in seventeen years and need the drug. Maybe by the time I get the disease the drug would be much cheaper. As it stands now, if I get sick in 2028, the drug will not be available at any price, because the government refused to approve it.

Slavery always got in the way of real American capitalism. Here's a good column on the subject, with quotes and statistics:
