Are the Poor Really Poor?

And yet the very people affected by all these government solutions " The Poor in America" Keep voting for the very people who have put them in these situations. The Democratic liberal agenda who keeps on promising the world to these people. There is no incentive for " working" to better themselves. Just sit back and do nothing, and the government will take care of you with welfare, food stamps, money for having kids that they refuse to raise with any morals or values. I for one am sick and tired of hearing about the "Poor in America" They are that way because they choose to be that way. Keep voting for democrats, and stay that way, but stop your bi------ about it.
This is a planned destruction of our way of life in this country, and we better wake up fast, before we lose everything we thought we were all about. Freedom, opportunity, and our ability to solve any problem that we have, through a free market economy. All for the sake of social justice. We cannot continue to let ideologues run our country. We need common sense approaches and solutions for our problems, not some hair brained theory on how to make equality a reality. Destroying the Energy Industry is not the answer to our problems, as a matter of fact, one of our greatest strengths as a country is dependent on cheap energy, not making it so expensive so we cannot solve any problem that we face.

Gross Media Ignorance

Why does it seem as if anyone who argues that the Constitution is not relevant in today society, has not even read the document, they quote things that are not there and misread the things that are. They think of themselves as elitists who have better ideas than what the Constitution provides for us. Our founders provided a road map for the most successful society in the history of mankind. Did they have all the answers, no they did not, how could anyone have all the answers for all of society when you have no idea what the future will bring. They gave us a document that if we followed would bring us prosperity, and freedom on an unprecedented level, in all the history of mankind Anyone who questions this document does not have the...

The College Scam

Your point in this article St\ossel is well taken, not every student is going to excel in collage. What is wrong with trade schools, apprenticeships, and experience in the work place to find ones way of making a living. The so called elites, with their big thinking ideas on just about everything, miss the point, as they usually do. "you can't possibly make something of yourself if you don't go to collage". This is rubbish, all you need to do in this society to make something of yourself is to work hard, be passionate about what you do, and never stop learning, weather you learn on the job, in the streets, or in collage. Our society today is too focused on what type of degree you have, and not the value one can bring to a job. Some...

Politics Versus Reality: Part II

Joe43 Wrote: Jul 06, 2011 7:50 AM
Thomas Sowell, cites facts, while those in government control cite theories, theories that by the way have no merit based in facts, his real question is why do we keep buying theories instead of facts. The reason is because we do not pay attention to what is actually being said, we pay attention to what we think we want to hear. We as a people are going to lose our freedoms, because we don't pay attention, we hear a politician speak and we think he or she has our best interest at heart, nothing and I mean nothing could be farther from the truth. They have an uncanny way of putting theory in a form, that says we are protecting your freedoms, when the exact opposite is true. Attaching fancy names to laws and bills that make it seem as...
"Our property-holders' democracy has served us well. Let's hope it leaves the way open for us to develop new forms of wealth accumulation". Somehow the next wave of wealth accumulation, is going to come through the creativity of the "American entrepreneur". That is what made this country the greatest nation in the history of the world, and it is what is going to solve the problems we face today. Those who think of the "American entrepreneur" as the enemy of this country are dead wrong. We are the problem solvers, and we will figure a way of of the mess were in. It is us the "American entrepreneur" that will come to the rescue and develop new systems of wealth creation. However we need the government to get off our backs and foster...

The Recovery is Dead

Gas prices are no doubt contributing to the Consumer spending numbers, however the increase of food prices are doing a number as well. If anyone is paying attention, the combination of the two are hurting the overall numbers. This is exactly what consumers have to feel uneasy about. When you look at just the rising cost of milk, you have to wonder about the overall health of the economy. Why is there no out cry from the media about gas prices, when they rose under Bush they had a field day blaming him. But they say nothing when prices rise further under their god, Obama. I guarantee you that gas prices will fall before the election, just enough to say to the American people that under Obama's leadership, he took the evil oil industry...
I think we all know exactly where this investigation is going to end up. Before all is said and done Attorney General Eric Holder is going to end up being the responsible party. His arrogance, ego and liberal agenda is the one most detrimental factors this country faces. Who would dream up an idea so crazy and dumb, and then not even listen to the professionals who told him that this was a bad idea. Only a man with an ego the size of Mt. Rushmore. The thing about this investigation is that even if they find Holder responsible, just exactly what is going to happen to him. Nothing that's whats going to happen. That's what will tee off the American people, politically connected people will walk away from any punishment or ill effects...

John King had no intention of letting viewers hear the answers to the ridicules questions he asked. His goal was not to let the viewers here about Obama's failures. He knew that any of the candidates could rip apart any policy that Obama has already put into place. His mission was to protect Obama, even at the expense of making himself look like an idiot, which he did. Mission accomplished John. You have shown yourself to be a committed protector of the administration. Hope they have a job for you, sooner or later even CNN will get rid of someone who has shown himself to be so indoctrinated with the liberal agenda, that will have to get rid of you. You must be vying for the white house communications directors job. You would be a...

The Green Jobs Fantasy

Joe43 Wrote: Jun 14, 2011 9:34 AM
No one more than I would like to see the green energy jobs fantasy work, just for the simple fact for the U.S. to be free and independent from foreign oil and other sources of energy. However, this is what it is, a fantasy. The green energy fantasy is still too cost prohibitive. The technology is just not their yet, and it will never get there by a government mandating it. When it takes up to 10 years to see return on investment, either by industry or consumers, this will never work. Smart business leaders and home owners will never wait this long for it to pay off. The only R&D work that will produce any real and tangeable results is going to be done by the private sector, not by a government pouring billions into a technology that...
