You have it backwards....Charter Schools are one-size fits all. Charter Schools are so much more limited in what they are able to offer curriculum wise than public schools that there is no comparison. Charter Schools are for academic, i.e. college prep, kids only. If they focus on one speciality, i.e. engineering, arts, then you have a homogeneous group of kids with a narrow interest. There are nuerous magnet schools, programs among the public schools that do the exact same thing. Many/most Charter Schools do not provide any better education than public schools do. Some think that if you yell "choice", "private" you are going to get something better. It ain't so.
