Does Anyone Still Like Obama?

Hey Gary-Obama and dems bailed out Greece twice in 2009-2010. They pumped our tax dollars into IMF/World Bank accounts in maneuvers largely concealed by their adoring media. They were scheduled to do much more, but the elections of 2010 took their majority in the house and restored a majority of statehouses to republicans. On the track America was on, had it continued at it's pace beyond 2010, we'd have collapsed before Greece.

Talked with many people about this. If you do not understand, that is fine. Just do not challenge their sincere loyalty to their fellow soldiers.

for the best. In serving with these men, especially as my my senior leaders, I heard such language and always took it in the spirit with which it was intended. At a generals funeral in Arlington National Cemetery, i witnessed an old Sergeant Major (There were no young ones then) who greeted a Lt/col. The greeting was laced with airborne infantry profanities and, unfortunately, it was within earshot of too many. It was the cause of some consternation that the Col. warmly greeted the SMAJ. They hugged, shook hands and smiled broadly. Later, I was in a small group of officers who raised the matter with the LTC. He explained that civilians had so overused (i.e., flowery language) conventional accolades that the tough men who'd cont'd

You are so right. I served with WW ll veterans for many years. It actually was 1970 before WWll careerists faded from active duty to the tiniest of minorities. Patton spoke often. Many of his speeches were exclusively made to officers. In those days, among the many tests that aspiring young officers had to know the answer to was that they were going to have KIA, WIA (and MIA). Offensive and defensive plans carried an integrated loss factor. A common number was that if a unit was properly supplied and emplaced in static defense, it would take three enemy to displace one defender. The reverse was true for offense. So, for the sake of planning, a senior commander tried to marshal a force of 4 to 1 superiority and then hoped cont'd

In America, the implications are clear. Their children become democrats/community organizers/ OWS protesters/ "transgender rights" activists. My younger sister has been a Canadian for more than 40 years. In 2008, she railed constantly about how the U.S. would never survive if BHO was not elected. Like her American democrat counterparts, she thinjs that BHO has been a huge success and that the U.S. is collapsing because of its' ungrateful citizens. Liberalism is truly an incureable disease.

Dan, You're right. However, dpeterman makes a reasonable good point. Fox is much better than most other sources, even though they wear the badge "conservative" because as much as 20% of their talent are conservative while other sources top out at 10% and a couple are much lower. I would like to see Fox talent closer to 50% before they can be awarded the "conservative news" badge.

Roy-You are wrong. What else is it that you want to know? Are you just here as a paid staffer with Obama 2012? You do not understand the language/ideology/politics/economics that are discussed here. You zero chance of ever converting anyone to your views and you've no wish to learn.

Dr Sowell, has given a clear, accurate and concise description of the problem. He has also been honest about where this will inevitably lead. It appears to me that he has opened a frank discussion about race. This means that Eric Holder will not be able to call him a "coward" and it is likely that if Holder, does not make a public observation on this matter fairly soon, we will know that he is (and has been) the coward. He does not stand alone. There are millions of mal-educated blacks who pour from the public schooling system each year, who have the preposterous idea that there are a dozen points upon which they may claim superiority. All of those points are sheer fabrication, but the attitude they endow the black community cont'd
