This helps explain why ammunition for .38, .22 cal and 9mm is so hard to get right now. The factories are working overtime, yet the average Joe has a very hard time obtaining any. Well, if you can't take away the guns, get rid of the ammo. It works better and only those who are buying will notice.

People raced to the stores and bought all the ammo when the gun grabbers started bleeting. This large ammo purchase by uncle sam has not helped the average joe looking for ammo though. Mostly though I think the shortage is being caused by gun owners that are nervous. I can't even find reloading supplies atm. I know that isn't the gubmints fault.
