What concerns me here is that President Obama is not a moderate. He may become desperate. Desperate people make desperate moves. And not being moderate implies that his moves could be much more extreme than we expect.

A significant difference is that in 1973, Democrats controlled both the U.S. House and the Senate. Today, Republicans control only the house. Without the Senate, I really doubt anything similar will result, despite the fact that Benghazi was one heck of a lot more dangerous to our country than Watergate.

The technology did not exist to get rid of unwanted babies without killing the mother, so they "left them on the mountainside". If their is only one way for President Obama, he is going to take it. Benghazi has shown that he would do it no matter what. He certainly would not stop because of U.S. interests to the contrary.
