I consider myself a realist. I believe that this nation is past the time when it could be saved. We are a sinking ship which has listed past the plimsoll line (the line on the side of a ship which, when listed past it, the ship can no longer be righted). Our choice is to go rapidly to the bottom, becoming a bananna republic with obama as our tin pot dictator, or go more slowly to the bottom with Romney. Certainly this is a bleak prediction. The only thing that could change this is a rebellion of some of the states. If some of the states REFUSED to enforce federal dictates that are OBVIOUSLY unconstitutional because they VIOLATE the 10th Amendment, perhaps the country could regroup and survive.
"There are no jobs!" That is what people told me outside a government "jobs center" in New York City.

To check this out, I sent four researchers around the area. They quickly found 40 job openings. Twenty-four were entry-level positions. One restaurant owner told me he would hire 12 people if workers would just apply.

It made me wonder what my government does in buildings called "job centers." So I asked a college intern, Zoelle Mallenbaum, to find out. Here's what she found:
