I always thought the black community backed OJ simpson's acquital of killing his ex-wife, Nicole, because she was white. That black women weren't outraged by the domestic violence because the wife was white tells it all. Had she been black, I wonder if the reaction would have been the same.
This case reminds me of the father who recently had to go to Brazil to get back his biological son from the family of his step-parents. The mother had taken the son to Brazil to visit her family, then informed the father from South America that she was divorcing him and keeping the son. In affect, she kidnapped her own son. She then married another man, died in childbirth, and the stepfather tried to raise the first man's son. The biological father went through the courts, both U.S. and Brazilian, for years. The Brazilian court originally favored the Brazilian stepfather's claim. It was only weeks ago that the Chief Justice of the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered that the son be given back to his American biological father. In short,...
