McCain is running scared, he's bombarding the airwaves in Arizona and he's calling in favors. McCain loosely supported Palin and Brown so he's getting his quid pro qio. I understand that. I love Sarah Palin and Scott Brown for the fires they've lit under conservatives. However, even they will not sway my displeasure with John McCain. McCain has crossed the aisle too many times and is totally out of touch. It's time for him to retire to Sedona and admire the red rocks.

You are so on target. Your comments should be spread far and wide. You have clearly expressed the frustrations of so many.

We rented Hurt Locker, what a waste. We couldn't get past 35 minutes of the 2 hours 11 minutes. It was sooooo boring and the acting stunk.

As to the Oscars, their purpose is to inflate already over inflated egos. They don't deserve all the hype.
McCain also ran an ad against J. D. Hayworth when Hayworth hasn't yet committed to running. I love Sarah Palin and Scott Brown for the fires they've lit under conservatives. However, even they will not sway my displeasure with John McCain. McCain has crossed the aisle too many times and is totally out of touch. Isn't it something???!!! The government that has volumes of laws dictating fair business practices is the same government whose legislators are allowed to manipulate cost and tax figures in addition to lying to the hilt in their campaign speeches under the protection of the first amendment.

Some $500 billion is still unspent from the first stimulus. To vote to add another $15 billion to our debt is totally irresponsible. How anyone could think otherwise is beyond me.

We are now in the 21st century, This isn't a 50s, 60s scifi world. New technology exists to efficiently recycle fuel and greatly reduce the volume, heat and radiotoxicity of byproducts.

"Politicians know a lot of stuff that isn't so. So do reporters."

So do voters!

MAYBE CATO TOO! I think the arguments for nuclear power and drilling at ANWR and the Gulf warrant a second "expert" opinion.

I've heard a big problem with the oil/gas supply is a shortage of refineries. Even if we had a bigger supply of oil we don't have the refineries to support such a supply. Greenies are blocking new refineries.

As to the cost factor, look at the government subsidy rates. Solar energy is subsidized at $24.34 per megawatt hour, wind $23.37 and 'clean coal' $29.81. By contrast, normal coal receives 44 cents, natural gas a mere quarter, hydroelectric about 67 cents and nuclear power $1.59.

There shouldn't...
