Agree JM there are people voting Republican who have never done so before. The reality is these voters now see that the Democratic Party is not the Party it use to be.....that includes my husband who has voted Republican for the first time ever.....he is 78 years old. One is never too old to "see the light."

As Guy reported this morning, Mitt Romney won the coveted endorsement of swing state Iowa's biggest newspaper, the Des Moines Register. He's the first Republican to do so in 40 years, making it the highest-profile to flip from Obama in 2008.
