The House needs to defund O'BamaCare. Just don't designate any funds and let the dang thing eat itself to death.

John McCain found out in his townhall in AZ. that the citizens do not want all the illegals from Mexico to be given amensty and a path to citizenship. This 70% that the polls say of Americans that wants to let the illegals stay and gain citizenship is bogus. I do not know of one person who is for this.

Magna you are so right. Too many people trying to get all they can from the government.....after all it's free, right? I'm tired of all the government give aways that I have to pay for people who are able to work.

We should have a five year resting period of allowing any immigrants into the country. During this time our government should completely overhaul the immigration system. There should be ways to tract all people coming into the country on a visa and work permit and make sure they do not overstay their time. Then we should clear off all illegals from the welfare roles. Borders should be secured completely during this five year period. Those coming in legally after that should have to prove they will be self sufficient and not need government assistance.

The only things a union can promise you is that you will pay union dues, and you will walk a picket line in case of a strike.

1-Change the immigration law that allows relatives to come in to the country except for a one month visa. 2-Keep track of those here on a visa. If visa runs out, go pick them up and take them to the airport. 3-Only allow skilled, educated people to come into the country. Number one rule is you must be able to speak and write English BEFORE you can come in. 4- Stop ALL immigration into the country for 5 years. This would give us time to get things cleaned up here in the immigration system.

O is only worried about how "he" will look in history. If the historians are like the media then O has nothing to worry about. He will go down in history as our savior; the best prez of all time. I for one am going to write an historical account of how O's presidency affected my family and me and leave this for my grandchildren and for those there after. I want my family to know the "real" O.

I have always disagreed with farm subsidies. I can remember back in the 80's all the hoopla about we've got to help the farmers keep their farms that have been in their family for generations. Well all that did was create bigger, and bigger farms until they became big business. Now the question is "are the farm business' to big to fail?" Same question that was asked about the other types of big business that we've bailed out......I say let'em make it on their own or fail.

Looks like Jackie's stand on "marriage vs. unions" is pretty much what I have been saying all along. Anyone can have a "union." The word "marriage" comes from the Bible and means joining of one man and one woman. So, a same sex couple cannot use the word "marriage" to join together. All the same sex couples need is a legal "union." It is that simple folks!
