In response to:

Should the GOP Bail Out Obamacare?

Has it been missed by everyone?!?!? The policies were dropped by PRIVATE INSURERS. PRIVATE. Meaning that no act of congress can compel them to undo any business decisions they have made, unless the GOP wants to be seen as being ok with the very suppositions and beliefs that gave lift to the monster of Obamacare. We already allow the fed to stick its nose into too much of the basic decision making that business should and needs to make for themselves. It reminds me of what a prof in college told me once: if you read a company prospectus and see the word "stakeholder" ANYWHERE in it, run for your life, and don't invest. Anyone who believes that they should be able to tell a business what to do, without exposing themselves to a y of the financial risk, is of that mindset and is a collaborator with the problem.

They knew that in order for a democracy to survive, it needed an educated population to be able make informed decisions; vibrancy in debate born from a knowledgeable citizenry. The shadow people of the political left have always been keen students of history and as such have always known that, for their long game to succeed, they first had to crush the power of the electorate to THINK for themselves. Remove their ability to critically analyze information and they win, for generations upon generations. . So they set their sites on education have been making ameliorated and destructive changes to all great nations for about 100 years now. Until now, they have been overwhelmingly successful. Since they could not completely control all forms of education and media, the people of the light are now fighting back. Thank God.
The ancient Greeks understood the vital I portance of a well educated populace
FINALLY, someone else writes this down. I have been saying this since they PASSED OBAMACARE. They have been on the record since before OBAMA WAS ELECTED. SINGLE PAYER is the end game, folks. SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. THIS was always the progressive method, the fulcrum for absolute trans-formative change to the great republic. As I have been posting non stop to different discussion blogs: RESEARCH LENIN's opinion on socialized medicine. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. NO MORE DISCUSSION NEEDED ON THIS. Now, on to dismantling the DNC state.

The Sins of Janet Yellen

The Cost of Living difference vs CPI is an excellent way to show how wrong this writer is, and how insulting his insinuations about those who disagree with his ilk. May I suggest another facet of COL? The fact is, people cannot afford a damn thing right now. As soon as the whole and deeper street level economy turns around (see 2 years after Obama leaves office, no matter who gets elected), you will see inflation jump like its on fire. The fact is, without the pressure of demand, inflation cannot show its true face across the spectrum of consumer goods that are used to calculate CPI. When the people start to buy those things they WANT as well as what they absolutely NEED, this "writer" will hopefully show some class and correct his record.
1. Thankfully Barone is sounding like a conservative again...hope it lasts. 2. NOTE TO GOP, NEW AWESOME TALKING POINTS: this woman wants to be president, yet passed up the single best opportunity to demonstrate presidential leadership, action, common sense, and fundamental understanding of how to use our biggest asset, our military. THIS IS WHY SHE CAN NEVER BE ALLOWED TO HOLD PUBLIC OFFICE AGAIN.

Rubio? Done. Next?
articles like this force one to consider this man's reputation as a "noted historian." I am appalled by his mincing here. I am getting close to being completely uninterested in his perspective and analysis. Did he not hear about the general response to the Obama "speech" made in Mexico recently? The Mexicans, who are there and presumably know their plight better than Mr. Georgetown Party Circuit, were unimpressed with the Bamster's rosy portrayal of their country. Non-plussed is, I believe, the most accurate and fair assessment of their response. Mexico is a dunghill writ and grown large. ANY extra incentive to come the USA will be gladly appreciated and made use of. Rick Perry doesn't want a fence? or a wall? News to me....I will...
