What Bernanke Really Said

Molly, Bernanke does what his puppet masters tell him to do. That is why the Fed isn't audited. Secretly loans are given to private interests using tax payer money & the Fed is not held accountable. "Quantitative easing" is a gimmick that may provide temporary relief using borrowed money but in the long run devalues the dollar & increases the national debt while the Fed cronies become wealthier.

Read the first couple chapters of Genesis. God established the marriage relationship and the relationship is only between a man and a woman. To claim otherwise is to stand in opposition to God.

Obamacare's contraception and abortion mandates are clearly a violation of the first amendment and any judge who rules otherwise should be impeached!
The word ,"liberal", is used as a weapon in an attempt to silence opposition. Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their kind are the real racists. Look at all the false accusations they have made against white people.....Tawana Brawley fake rape charge, the Duke rape case inquisition, Jena Louisiana false racist claims, George Zimmerman lynch mob, voter photo I.D. false racism claims. And the list could go on.

You couldn't possibly have read my post and come away with that conclusion unless you completely missed what I said about Jesus Himself taking the punishment for our sins upon Himself therefore completely satisfying God the Father's righteous standards. This is not Jesus handing out punishment but dying in the place of sinners and taking the punishment that they deserved upon Himself.

Here's the explanation: God is holy and cannot except anything less than His own perfect righteous standards. God is also just and therefore He must punish sin. God cannot just look the other way because then He would be condoning unrighteousness. Sin must be punished by God if He is to be just Himself. Being just Himself God must punish sin and therefore sin has a penalty and that penalty is death and eternal separation from God. Jesus Christ became God in the flesh and He perfectly fulfilled God's law therefore enabling Him to take the penalty for our sin upon Himself on His cross of death. Jesus Christ became the substitute for sinners on the cross taking their penalty upon Himself and therefore satisfying God's righteous standards.

Andy said: "Some of the posts in this thread have cited David and Solomon (or even Abraham) as proof that God approves polygamy or polyandry". If you are referring to my posts then you didn't read them very carefully or you missed the point entirely. I didn't say that God approved these sins. God is absolutely holy and cannot approve sin! But God does forgive sin and remits the sins of those who trust in Christ for salvation." Abraham believed God and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." Jesus said that Abraham saw His day and rejoiced. Did you read my reference verses! Romans 4:1-9

Read my other posts. David's sins were not excused but were remitted as also in the case of Abraham who formerly was an idol worshipper. They believed God and their "faith was reckoned as righteousness." Read the book of Romans 4:1-8. This is the wonder of God's grace. God did not overlook their sins but as Romans 4:7,8 says, "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account".

God did not punish them for their polygamy but instead chose to show mercy upon them in this regard. In Hebrews 11 we see that David is listed as one who was faithful to God. Just as God said about Abraham, "he believed God and it was reckoned to him as righteousness", the same is true of David as is written in Romans 4.
