But make no mistake, both campaigns get REAL polling data.. Accurate data.. THEY know wassup. Obama is shaking in his boots right now, guaranteed.
Yep... the polls have always oversampled democrats.. ALWAYS.. and in my 31 years on this planet, I have noticed this never clicks in the pea size brain of the average Dem.. So, come election day, they cry foul, never taking into consideration that the actual vote counts more than rigged polls.
He makes the comparison between this election and Carter/Reagan.. I think that's important, because the climate is very similar between the two, and Obama is a lot like Carter. In other words, there are more similarities between Carter/Reagan and this election than between this election and Bush/Kerry. In any case, I have seen enough elections to know that the polls give points to Dem candidates consistently. Yes, they DO oversample dems..they always have.. So, when you see Romney at 52% and Obama at 45%, and then you adjust for the consistent Dem oversampling, what do you get? That's the funny thing, in my 31 years on this planet, I have noticed that Dems still have not figured out that the polls are skewed towards them.
And that's what happened.. they hoped for the best, and we basically got the worst. But to sit there and say "Republicans spent us into oblivion" without ANY mention of Obama's drunken sailor spending on things like Obamacare and the trillions more it set us back is just plain intellectually dishonest as hell. BTW, Obama put us more in debt in four years than Bush did in 8. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.
Actually, the blame goes back past Obama and past Bush. What started the whole "collapse"? The housing crisis. It was the first domino to fall in a huge chain of dominoes. And that whole subprime lending policy was instituted by the Clinton-controlled government. Yes, shame on both parties for not hemming it up after Clinton was gone, but...on the other hand, what were they supposed to do? You have the government telling banks to lend to people who can't pay back the loans, and then those people get these houses that are worth more than the people make in 30 years of working. You going to kick them out of their homes? No, because it's political suicide to do so. Instead, you wait for the bubble to pop and hope for the best.
