Thanks, Mr. Reagan. You are right. We loved your father, and I'm afraid we will never have another who so clearly and winsomely makes the case for true conservatism.

True! But remember, the country has changed since then. We have more minorities, more extreme liberal TV. Honor, integrity and character are out, snarky, sneering, lying are in. People get their political information from late night comedy. Its sad and gonna get worse.

Agree with you 100% - also think the America we once knew is now just a memory.

That's the problem with Republican's. They are living in the past. As Meghan McCain said " we are going to continue losing elections until we wake up to reality."

Dear Bob,

Ahhhhh........ Meghan McCain is probably not the best possible example
for your statement.

She doesn't seem to be well-attached to reality.

bobz-You might be PARTIALLY correct in your "They're living in the past" regarding "republicans, but let me give you my concept of our (Mine AND YOUR) Futures! We (America) are BROKE, as in insolvent, "Teats Up" bankrupt AND That's only the beginning of our shortcomings! YES, I said OUR PROBLEMS, because when the "freebies" to include many types of retirement, Welfare,, Disability SSI, etc etc run out (CAPUT, NO MORE, ZERO (U get it?) things will no longer sustainable as we know it today. I have prepared (Armed, Fortified and opinionated) for such short-falls--HAVE U?

Ahhhhhhhh a McCain should know about losing elections. next your gonna tell me Bob Dole will tell us how to win elections, or John Kerry.

Wait until next year -- 2016, that is.

That’s what disappointed Republican spinners kept saying Tuesday night as they watched Mitt Romney’s hopes crash and burn in swing state after swing state.

How many times did I hear a Republican talk about how their party’s deep bench of future all-stars will return it to power in Washington in four years?

But all the Ryans, Rubios, Bushes, Haleys and Christies in America can’t put the GOP -- or the country -- back together again.

The GOP is a wreck -- and not just in California, where the party’s registration is now...
