And how is that you know yours is the "true" church? I have heard that from many different denominations. I heard it from an in-law who tried to recruit us to Mormonism. I have heard in ad nauseum from Catholics. Everyone thinks theirs is the "true" church.

The Christian hating non believer, hates God because there is no affirmation for homosexuality.

Try reading the bible before criticizing it, and please, gain a working knowledge before posting, you continually embarrass and humiliate yourself with your displays of biblical and religious illiteracy.

How can I hate an entity I don't believe exists?

David asks:

"How can I hate an entity I don't believe exists?"

God exists, your failure to believe does not diminish his existence or the fact you are a creation of God.

Most of you Box Turtle types are non believers and offer nothing but hate towards God and Christians. Homosexual militants hate God because their homosexuality is not affirmed and ever will be.

The reality is you homosexual militants target Christians, yet none of you will log on to a web site and call the Muslim prophet what you do to Christians. Muslims have sworn to eradicate homosexuals, That distills your non belief down to a political agenda

I am neither militant nor homosexual.

Just read all the posts in this forum by people who profess to be Christians, and then tell me who it is that is "militant.'

David, this Church is real and 'true' to me.....I have been to just about every congreation, and rejected most of them,....But my dearest pastor Michael Youssef, is truely being faithful to The true Word of G0d, ....If he wasn`t true to this written Word, i would not be going to his assembly...Listen to his sermons, you can hear them on the web, anytime you want.....

A study of Christianity for almost it's very inception, well at least from the time of the last apostle, Christianity has tried to justify it's very being, but has fallen short of anything that could be described as the "True Church of Jesus Christ! Why so many versions of Christianity? Why the falling away from his true teachings? If all churches claiming to be of the "Church" why was there the reformation? Why are there two versions of Catholicism? The list could go on!

"Onward Christian soldiers marching on to war, with the Cross of Jesus marching on before."

Ya see, David, you say you have rejected religion and denied God. In doing so you have lost all credibility when criticizing it. There is no way for you to justify passing judgement.

'By their fruits you will know them'. If they pick the bits of the Bible they like and reject the bits they don't like, they are not Christians. The Bible is the instruction book of life, not a pick and mix menu.

The statement was that jkendrik was thankful that his or her pastor is being true to the word of God, making his or her church one part of the true Church in North Atlanta ... the true Church is made up of every single individual, man, woman or child, regardless of denomination or church affiliation, who believes and confesses that Jesus, the Messiah and the Anointed One (Christ), has come in the flesh, was crucified for our sins and died and was buried, and that God has raised Him from the dead. He is seated now at the right hand of the Father and will come again, to judge the living and the dead. The "true church" is not just one group of believers belonging to one denomination.

Episcopalian leaders continue to guide their denomination into the abyss—and no doubt, the Presbyterians (PCUSA) will soon follow.

As reported in the Huffington Post, the Episcopal denomination’s General Convention voted this week to make it illegal to “discriminate against anyone.” Specifically, that means it is now illegal to “. . . bar from the priesthood people who were born into one gender and live as another or who do not identify themselves as male or female.”

Readers of my columns and other pieces may remember my prediction that this fast train into the pit would not stop just...
