Ill believe the Republican party has given up racism when they stop giving the John Birch Society a booth at events.

Shrug. I'd take a failed policy over more supplyside nonsense from the Republican party, I know that doesnt work. The Republican party is the of Small Government unless its regarding women's uterus's,or who some one wants to marry, or choosing who or what to worship. I really am more concerned about the social planks of the Republican platform then anything else. The far right psycho crowd has supplanted normalcy and commonsense. When your party has purged itself of the neo con and the bible thumper than I might consider your other concerns.

the above citation very fairly makes the case that the men involved were either misinformed or lying. i understand reading is hard and all however im not going to do it for you. where is your citation on a reputable fact checking site that they aren't in fact lying?

the Democratic convention is going to a staid boring affair, your side has Palin and Paul turning it into a sideshow as they try to supplant the main candidate. the teabaggers will be running around screaming "keep the government out of MY medicare", the Bible Thumpers will be screaming that the founding fathers really wanted a Religious Theocracy, and the Birchers will be quietly recruiting the really hardcore racists. The Democratic convention doesnt have anything even close to those theatrics.

yep and yet hes a horrible person and a bad politician when he uses the same tactics. I love the Republican disconnect from reality. No one cries like a Republican does.

Then why does your side cry so hard over anything Stewart and Colbert say? After all they are merely entertainers too, right?

Most of his influence stems from the novel idea he and his vice president espoused regarding deficits and their lack of importance. the 8 years of the Bush presidency was disastrous. The teatards on derphall whine about generational deficits and ignore the real cause of those exact deficits. We can't fix them until we get back to Clintonian employment levels. The President at best has managed to keep the wolf from the door by overcoming the Republicans party desire to let it burn if it gets the black guy out of the Whitehouse.
