I don't get it - if we are conservative, then we favor minimal government and individual liberty, choice and freedom. How is it consistent that we believe that the government should be telling consenting adults who they can and cannot have sex with? Or that the government should be telling consenting adults who they can and cannot marry? If it's not rape, how is it any business of the governments? This is not at all to say that I think that Kagan is a great choice for the supreme court.

It's amazing how uninformed voters are about how an economy works and how the plans of who they are voting for will (negatively in this case) impact it.

It's even more amazing that somebody who has no understanding of basic economics (Obama, Biden...) could get elected to the most powerful job on Earth.

Also amazing is Soros. How can you get that rich and back Obama and the DNC? How is that even possible with that mindset?

I am the lone entrepreneur in a family of socialists and communists (I mean that literally - registered members of various "labor" parties and folks who volunteered for Obama's campaign).

I get a headache talking to them at family events about anything that is going on in the world. It is very refreshing to have this column from someone who (to me) sounds sane.
